Killer Brownie’s® Chocolatier with Toasted Meringue

You deserve to treat yourself to an elevated treat! With gourmet Chocolatier brownies, craft a decadent dessert experience using just a few ingredients.

SERVINGS: 16 brownie bites

INGREDIENTS

1 Killer Brownie® Chocolatier 16-ct bites tray
10 tbsp of egg whites (room temperature)
1 tsp of cream of tartar
1 ¼ cup of baker’s sugar

PROVISIONS

A culinary butane torch (optional)

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. To make the meringue, let the egg whites sit at room temperature for 20 minutes before adding them to a bowl along with the cream of tartar and baker’s sugar.

  2. Heat the mixture in a double boiler, whisking continuously until the temperature reaches 158 degrees F.

  3. Then, using a stand mixer or an electric hand mixer, whisk on medium/high for 10 to 15 minutes until stiff peaks form. 

  4. With the meringue finished, remove the Chocolatier brownies from the packaging and place them onto a serving plate.

  5. With a knife, score the brownie bites to make separation easier after decorating.

  6. Smooth the meringue over the brownies and, using a torch or your oven’s broiler, brown the meringue until golden.

  7. Enjoy immediately!
